Diwari is a soul music artist with Afrobeat influences. She shot to fame in 2012 as a finalist on season 2 of Nigerian Idol. Since then, Diwari has released a number of singles and music videos, including ‘Ogun mi (My Medicine)’ as a signed artist. She was a Female Artist of the Year nominee in the 2013 Chase Music Awards.

In 2015, Diwari went independent and was the first Nigerian artist to record a cover of Adele’s monster hit ‘Hello’, before others jumped on the trend.

Diwari took some time out from the music scene in 2016 to focus on other interests but has now returned with two new singles for 2020, ‘Truce’ – a neo soul ballad and ‘Move’- a ‘Nigerian praise and worship-inspired‘ highlife track. Both tracks are available on major online music streaming platforms.
