The directorate of press and Public Affairs issued  a statement signed by Samuel Emmanuel Nanle dismissing  the points raised by Mr. Santos Ayuba Larab as unfortunate and incongruous.

Re: The Interview of Santos Ayuba Larab published by ViewPointNigeria on Tuesday 9th January 2017.

It is rather unfortunate and Incongruous that Santos, who being a Frontline supporter of the APC who fought assiduously to bring the Lalong Administration into office as an alternative to a Government of impunity, would decide to go public with his perception of Government and by extension seek to rubbish his unfettered access to Government.

When personal opinions  become saturated  with vague  generalizations,  unsubstantiated accusations and sensationalism clearly out of the context of an interview, and in total dislocation from the facts on ground, It  becomes pointless and needless to respond.

Santos is a plateau citizen entitled to his perception of  Government whether  rightly or wrongly, and for a person of his standing who is an integral part of the Rescue Government, he should know better than seek to grandstand to the detriment of his person.
