The Deputy speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Yusuf Gagdi, on Tuesday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.  Similarly, the member representing Mikang constituency, Daniel Nanlong also decamped alongside the deputy speaker. Gagdi is the member representing kantana constituency of the state.

Information reaching ViewPointNigeria indicates that While presenting a letter in the House, Speaker of the House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Peter Azi, congratulated the decamped members, stressing that in the APC there is no discrimination.

Azi called on the party to remain resolute, calling on citizens of the state to continue to support the APC both at the state and Federal levels.

Speaking to newsmen, the deputy speaker said he dumped the PDP because most of his supporters are in the APC.
