We felicitate with the National and State Legislators, marking Democracy Day and One Year Anniversary as the 9th Assembly Lawmakers.

We also use this medium to specially congratulate fellow Nigerians, on the occasion of Year 2020 Democracy Day Celebration.

Kudos to the Federal and State Executives for consolidating on the socio-economic feats recorded during the first tenure and for measures put in place to contain COVID-19 Global Pandemic and other domestic challenges.

Despite the challenges faced by the dreaded Virus which has crumbled many economies worldwide, we are optimistic that your wisdom in containing further spread of the virus; through stringent measures, has enkindled the hope for a strengthened post COVID-19 economy in Plateau State and the nation at large.

With reflective hearts, we commend the heroes of democracy for their dogged determination and sacrifice which eventually birthed democratic governance in Nigeria.

We encourage all Nigerians to continue to cherish these selfless efforts and collaborate with the present administration at all levels to ensure the realization of the democratic ideals which these Patriots fought for, even at the cost of their lives.
Let us all take responsibility for stopping the spread of Corona virus and stay safe by observing physical and social distancing, personal and respiratory hygiene, as well as other regulations issued by relevant authorities,” the statement read.
