The former Governor of Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau Central, Sen. Joshua Dariye has confirmed that he will be returning to the PDP and has assured those having fears about his return to the Patty that he is not returning to scuttle Governor Jonah Jang.

He has also declared that he will contest the Plateau Central Senatorial seat again come 2015.

He has also declared that he will contest the Plateau Central Senatorial seat again come 2015.

Dariye who spoke to journalists in Jos on Saturday said, “I’m not coming back to PDP to scuttle Governor Jonah Jang, no; there is no conflict of role, he is an outgoing governor, just like I had been outgone since 2007. Everybody will come and go.

“Late Baba Solomon Lar, Sir Fidelis Tapgun and myself had all come and gone. Change is continuous and one corporate entity that remains is Plateau. So nobody should feel insecured about my return, we must collectively protect it for generations yet unborn.

“I believe that democracy is government of the people for the people and by the people, after wide consultations with my constituents, they believe that is not about winning in any party, belong with other people were we can collectively work. He stressed.

“I believe in the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.

On the forthcoming 2015 polls, the lawmaker said, “I’m not a prophet of doom, I believe there will be a viable Nigeria, I believe that people will conduct themselves with decorum and we believe in one corporate Nigeria”.
