As the 2015 polls get closer, the Patron, Jonathan Shall Lead Again (JOSLA) Plateau chapter, Professor Danladi Atu said President Goodluck Jonathan is the best candidate for office of the President come 2015.

Atu stated this in Jos at the inauguration of the Plateau chapter of JOSLA on Wednesday, said that Jonathan has so far done very well compared to his predecessors.

The patron maintained that Jonathan is the candidate of all political parties in Plateau because Plateau is Jonathan’s home

Atu stated this in Jos at the inauguration of the Plateau chapter of JOSLA on Wednesday, said that Jonathan has so far done very well compared to his predecessors.

The patron maintained that Jonathan is the candidate of all political parties in Plateau because Plateau is Jonathan’s home.

“Plateau is Jonathan’s home, he has no political party here because he is the candidate of all political parties but for other positions there are political parties.

“The president should go to sleep as far as Plateau is concerned because it is his home, what we are doing now in plateau is to watch neighbouring states and to encourage them to work with Jonathan. Stressed.

Atu who was a gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of Labour Party in the 2011 general elections, explained that he was in another party at that time, but voted Jonathan.

Also speaking, Maj. Chris Idoga Rtd, JOSLA Director of Security described the president as a ”better devil” as far as leadership in Nigeria was concerned.

Idoga said the problem the country is going through was not masterminded by Jonathan, pointing out that the challenges started before Jonathan became the president.

“The problems started when some of the people who are now calling for the head of the president were in charge but they did nothing to stop it.

In his remarks, JOSLA Coordinator in the State, Peter Okoruwa, said JOSLA was set up by people of like minds to woo support for the re-election of the president haven done exceptionally well in his first tenure.

Okoruwa added that, its only by forming groups like the JOSLA the people could check those elected in leadership positions accountable to electorates.

He advised members of the group to go about work decorum in order to make 2015 to unify Nigerians for the good of the young and the old
