With less than two months to the 2015 gubernatorial elections and in its efforts to ensure victory, the Plateau State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, inaugurated an action
campaign committee for its governorship candidate, Sen. Gyang Pwajok.

The Chairman of Mikang, Mr. Daniel Kungmi, is the Director General, Zakari Mohammed a former Chairman of Wase is to serve as Director of Operation and Emmanuel Tuang from Qua’an Pan is the Director of Strategy; they are all from Plateau South.

Others are Chairman Finance Committee, Mrs Sarah O chekpe, while Alhaji Samaila Rukuba is her Secertary.

Hon. James Pam Stephen, who was the former Chief of Staff to late Chief Michael Botmang, is to Chair the Protocol Committee and his Secretary is Comrade Ubong Udoh.

Hon. Michael Dachom is to Head the Electoral Process Committee and Hon. Joyce Ramnap is to serve as Secretary.

Also to Head the Media team of the Campaign is Hon. Hosea Nash and the Secretary is Chuwang Dung; while the Elders Council Committee will be chaired by Hon. Damishi Sango and the Secretary is Hon. Alexander Molwus.

There were several other committees also inaugurated.

Speaking at the occasion held at the State Party Secretariat inJos, the Acting Chairman of the PDP in the state, Raymond Dabo called on the People of the state to work for the victory of the Party in the
forthcoming general elections.

Dabo said, “The PDP under Governor Jonah Jang has provided dividends of democracy to the People of the State.

“I appeal to people of Plateau to continue to support our party and to ensure victory for the party at all levels.

“The inauguration team is to work and ensure victory for our governorship flag bearer, Gyang Pwajok”. He added.

Also speaking at the occasion, the governorship flag bearer, Sen. Pwajok said Plateau people have bestowed confidence in the Party.

“The PDP would continue to provide dividends of democracy to the People of the Plateau.

Pwajok appealed to members of the party to work as a team towards attaining victory in the 2015 general elections.

In his remarks, the Director General of the campaign, Daniel Kungmi, assured that the team will work hard to deliver on its mandate.
