The debt profile of Plateau State Government has increased from N240 billion in 2015 to N950 billion (almost 1 Trillion Naira) in 2017 financial year. This mean an increase of 400℅ from the handing over note of immediate past administration of Senator Jonah Jang. This as a results of recklessness of mismanagement of funds by governor Lalong led administration. Governor Lalong borrowed $2.0 billion (N720,000,000,000) payable in 25 years from the African Development Bank in 2017 for Establishment of Irish Potatoes Processing Factory in Bokkos, Plateau State. But surprisingly, nothing has happened on the Plateau State except killings of innocence citizens on daily basis. He further borrowed N2 billion to complete Zaria Road Stadium, putting the State into a slavery of 25 years.

Latep Dabang, an APC Chairman on the Plateau is the most corrupt personality in Lalong led administration. Latep is the major player who caused and stop governor Lalong from conducting local government election in Plateau State because he have enjoys collecting N4,250,000 monthly from the Local Government Management Committee Chairmen since from 2015 to date. Each Management Committee Chairman have been paying monthly bribe of N250,000 to Latep Dabang from the Local Government Account. These and others numerous reasons Governor Lalong elongated tenure of Management Committee Chairmen. These funds could have been used for development of our local government areas but were corners by Latep Dabang for his selfishness as Plateau APC Chairman.

Worrisomely, governor Lalong up to date refused to conduct local government election on the ground of insecurity but have been preaching to the whole world that peace have return to Plateau State to the point of lieing to Mr. President during his two days visit to Plateau State. Killings were going on in Bokkos and Bassa but Senator Dariye was dying to Mr. President that peace have return to Plateau State to cover his shame of corruption’s which he looted Plateau State treasury to the tune of N2 billion during his tenure as governor. Up to date Senator Dariye is under EFCC charges.

For Latep Dabang to insults personality of Barrister Solomon Dalung, Minister of Youth and Sports meaning he lack respect to authority. Latep Dabang should explains in clear term to Plateau masses why he taxes Local Government Management Committee Chairmen a monthly tax of N250,000 since 2015 to 2018? Latep Dabang should explain to Plateau masses whether he has become revenue collector’s agency of Plateau people.

Latep Dabang, during 2015 general election collected N100,000,000 bribes from Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization which he promised them bulk votes. Unfortunately to him Goodluck Jonathan didn’t wins the election. He brought shame and calamity to himself. He betrayed APC mandate as Chairman of the party in the state which qualified for his removal but nobody sacks him.

Plateau people most arise to sack Lalong led administration before the state crash and liquidated into total collapse. We must dust up our PVCs to vote out these corrupts personalities before they finish our Plateau heritage.
