A political Think-Tank, the Langtang South political credibility group, has described the Executive Chairman of Langtang South LGC Hon. Nimchak Rims as a quintessential humanitarian who has the interest of his people and Plateau State at heart.

The group also appealed to the Executive Chairman to re-contest as they are solidly behind him.

According to them, this decision is coming after a wide consultation with stakeholders and some strong inner drives.

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos and sign by the convener of Langtang South APC Youth Vanguard.

The group further said that Rims achievements in less than three years as the Executive Chairman of Langtang South has brought development to the people of Langtang South. Rims has portrayed himself as one of the most remarkable leader in L/South.
To us, Rims Nimchak is the only one who can represent the interest of the youth, women, aged and others and defeat any candidate of other parties in L/South LGA.

Rims is a detribalised Nigerian who has carried all along since he became Chairman, a clear example is the political appointments he gave to his Advicers, Special assistants and Senior special assistants respectively.

The achievements of Hon. Nimchak Rims has shown that there is no vacancy in the LGA election comes October 9th 2021. His good works are there for all to see, he has stood so tall.

They further said Rims is a man of performance and integrity whose loyalty is tested on daily basis and he would appeal to the electorate during the 2023 elections.

Rims has demonstrated his preparedness for public service by his incontestable public-spirited disposition and commitment to the welfare of his people, thus solidifying his political credibility and enhancing his electability.

While commending Hon. Nimchak Rims for striving hard to attract projects and development to his local government, the group urged the electorate to support him for a second term as their Executive Council Chairman, noting that a return of Rims as Chairman would consolidate on gains made so far.
