The loss of a father at any stage and age is painful and mournful. It is in this light that Senator I. D. Gyang of Plateau North Senatorial District is commisserating with the Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, Member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency, over the demise of his father Mallam Adamu Yusuf Gagdi, a reputed Islamic Scholar and Imam.

The Senator salutes the service of the late Baba in his capacity as an Islamic scholar and cleric and in particular, his foresightedness by investing in the upbringing and education of his son, Hon Yusuf Gagdi, who has turned out to be a blessing to his Constituency and beyond.

This emphasizes the value of education as a lasting and trans-generational legacy which the Senator urges all parents to emulate.

The Senator prays for the repose of the soul of the late Baba and for the family to take solace in the fact that death is an inevitable end of all mortals.
