Sequel to rumours which have been making rounds that the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State in the April, 11th, 2015, governorship polls, Sen Gyang Pwajok, passed on from a cardiac related illness – a firm rebuttal to that effect was provided today.

The denial was contained in a press statement made available to journalists in Jos, Wednesday, signed by his Media Assistant, Chuwang Dungs.

It reads, “Our attention has been drawn to rumours being peddled by some mischievous elements that distinguish Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok , the Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate in the last election is dead.

“We wish to use this medium to assure the citizens of Plateau State, and confirm with clarity that Sen. GNS Pwajok, is alive, hale and hearty and is enjoying his holiday abroad. The statement added.

“We are not oblivious of the fact that the unfolding mischief is a publicity strategy to distract the teeming supporters of GNS Pwajok, from the ongoing judicial arbitration process which is highly in our favour.

“We however remain resolute and focused on reclaiming the mandate given to us by the good people of Plateau State”. It stressed.

The statement advise the fabricators of such malicious agenda to find other means of channeling their panic, saying “God is the giver of life and He alone determines the life of all mortals.
