As the old English adage cautions; ” What is worth doing, is worth doing well.” This old wise saying, is replicated in the political aspiration of Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur, who having declared his intention to contest for the position to represent the good people of Plateau Central Senatorial zone, at the Upper chamber of the National Assembly, on the 21st day of March 2022, is living no stones unturn to actualized this people’s oriented aspirations. This, he is doing, through wide consultation and visitation of critical stakeholders within the African Largest ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), the Political platform under which, he is contesting, in his constituency.

Charity the said, begins at home; Chief Pedro began his consultation at the Pankshin-South Party’s office in Longkat, Chip, where he was received by the party’s Executive Committees members from the Five federal Wards that make-up Pankshin-South constituency and a mammoth crowd.

The APC’s chairman Pankshin-South constituency in the person of Mr. Dakung Nanbam Plangkat, gave the welcoming address, before inviting Chief Pedro Dafur to address the house. Chief Pedro introduced himself and made know his intentions of contesting for the position of a SENATOR representing PLATEAU CENTRAL SENATORIAL ZONE at the Red chambers of the National Assemblyin Abuja, in the forth coming general elections

Resonding to Chief Pedro’s aspiration the able chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Pankshin-South constituency, was filled with joy over the said aspiration, saying Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur is the first among all the aspirants in Pankshin-South constituency, to have visited them with such cheering news, he also promise to support his aspiration and prayed for victory at the end.

Other very notable personality who were present at the event are; Con. Nehemiah Daswhep rtd., Hon. Ishaya Dokpan, Pankshin -South Women Leader; Hon. Mrs. Rauta Daciya and a host of other party’s chieftains too numerous to mention. Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur was also at the Party’s office of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Pankshin Local Government Area, where he was also received by the party’s Local Government Chairman and party’s faithfuls, who have turn out in their numbers to welcome Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur to the APC ‘s party’s office in Pankshin Local Government Area.

In Pankshin, Chief Pedro reiterated his intention of vying for the position of a Senator to represent the good people of Plateau Central Senatorial zone, at the Upper chamber of National Assembly, and stated that he cannot do this alone without the support of his very owned Local Government Party’s Chairman and other party’s faithfuls.

The Chairman of APC Pankshin Local Government in his remarks, thanked Chief Pedro and other Principal officers for show if humility through humbly coming to notify the local government executives of his intention to vie for the said position, which to him was a show of humility, considering the aspirant’s pedigree and as step in the right direction. He concluded by saying that the Party will provide a plain level ground for all aspirants, to enable free and fair primary elections in no distant time for the actualization of Chief Pedro’s aspiration.

In a related development, as part of the wide consultation across his constituency and beyond, Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur also held a meetings with Party’s Chairmen and party’s faithfuls in Pankshin-North Constituency, Central and State Executives, Kanke APC Local Government executives, Mangu APC Local Government executives, Tim Zone in Ampang comprising of several Federal Wards EXCO, Mangu Central Zone Executives and Pyem District in Gindiri, the reception was heart warming and cheering and a major boast for Chief Pedro’s aspiration.

In all this wide consultation and various visitations, what stand out is the fact that Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur is a man who’s path is decorated by garlands and leaves, because he is loved, appreciated and admired by many, because of the impact he has made on the lives of many people within and outside his constituent, who have seen and tested his altruistic nature. Indeed, Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur is the man for the job, we move!
