Christian association of Nigeria (CAN , women wing) the umbrella body that unites Christians across denomination today in Jos announce plan to build a safe Home.
The safe Home is design to multiple task- it’s both a home for IDPs and a skills acquisition centre. Speaking on the project WOWICAN chairperson Mrs Rhoda G . jiwul says the “ every woman is committed towards paying #400 evry year to achieve this project”, However, the organization is dedicating a set of books given by different authors to raise funds.
The chairperson chronicled many challenges facing the Christian community today to include drugs abuse and prostitution and explain that the project is a vision to withdraw many who are suffering from the many vices that befall the Christian women on the plateau.
The project is estimated at fifty million Naira … but as the women trade mark “leave a Mark “ thier determination is a mark of victory , soon the project would be a thing of the past.
