In the spirit of Dalung’s kind gesture towards Kim Isaac who has been on wheel chair for the past 8 years because of protracted spinal chord problem, many youths and fellow humanitarians have had cause to thank the Minister of Youth and sports Development for his extraordinary effort in saving the life of a young Plateau son whose hope has been dashed initially. ViewPointNigeria gathered that Kim got another handsome support of N2.5M for his surgery in India through the Minister. After the donation, the minister wrote powerfully on his official facebook page that ”In recent times the social media has been inundated with assorted captions the KIM Charity. Many believe that our modest gesture is commendable and should be celebrated. While others condemned it as political, as usual they took the opportunity to spit venom of hate speeches. Father, forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing. How I wish people can feel the pulse of my heart beat to appreciate it operations.

I hate praises because any humane gesture from my heart is to God, the Creator. And so, I preferred people thanking Him and not me. My prayer has been that God should deny all those who play politics with human lives access to political offices, because they do everything for self political gains. My heart is heavy to know that a fellow human being KIM has been on the wheel chair for eight years and his crime is his poor background. When he visited me I fought tears helplessly to respond because it could been Dalung. If efforts is seen by some as political, please donate more than us so that you can take advantage.

When shall we be humane my people? And when shall we distinguish between humanity and primordial political considerations? If you know God help this poor boy whose only crime was the decision of his mother not marrying from a rich family. For me, I have decided that I will do everything within my reach to fight for KIM and his friends to send him to his doctors in India. If this offends you find a place in your heart to forgive Dalung.

Therefore, I will make a personal donation of #500,000 from my April 2017 salary. Meanwhile, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports has donated two million naira to the KIMWALK Campaign. So please do not celebrate me but continuously give thanks to God Almighty for His mercies and faithfulness. I pray that somebody will be touched by this boy’s situation and assist please.”
