Senator Jonah Jang has been granted bail after a controversial 1 week sojourn at the Jos prisons, where he was remanded after the deadlocked trial of last week.

Approving bail today, the presiding judge, Justice Daniel Longji granted bail with two sureties with the sum of N100 million Naira. One of the sureties is said to have to be a First Class chief.
