Breaking: Pankshin LGC Election: Hon. Alexander J. Dapar Emerges Labour Party flagbearer

As the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) puts finishing touches on all preparations to conduct local government elections across the 17 LGCs in the state, following successful deliberations, critical stakeholders meetings and widespread consultation, Hon. Alexander Dapar has emerged the Labour Party chairmanship flagbearer for Pankshin.

Mr. Dapar, who has successfully picked, filled, and submitted his form expressed deep appreciation for the outpouring of support across the local government and beyond. He also thanked the leadership of the Labour Party in the state for advancing the course of democracy and pursuing purposeful leadership.

Mr. Dapar further calls on PLASIEC to ensure a free, fair, and credible election that reflects the ultimate will of the people.

In his words, he said, “The Labour Party stands fully rooted and prepared for the job. Our work will continue all across the different wards that make up Pankshin, and we are carrying everyone along because this is a project that is deeply engraved in the consciousness of our people.”

Mr. Dapar envisions pursuing vigorously the implementation of sustainable development goals with quality education, health, and critical infrastructure as key drivers of the Pankshin Rebirth Project.

In another development, the Labour Party calls on its teeming supporters and the people of Pankshin to vote for Mr. Alexander Dapar who has touched lives positively in many different ways.
