BREAKING: DAIKA RECEIVED A BOOST AS YOUTHS ENDORSED AND PROMISED TO WORK FOR VICTORY COME OCTOBER

A youth body under the umbrella of the People Democratic Party (PDP), “Wuslap Loe Kum”(fire that burned a shrine) in Piapung District of Mikang Local Government Area have drummed up support for the candidate of the strongest opposition party in Nigeria (PDP) in the forthcoming Plateau South Senatorial election, Rt. Hon. George Edward Daika (GED) who is popularly known as “KAKAKI” and the leader of the “AMANA” movement.

The youths group which membership cut across the four (4) electoral wards of Piapung and which has been in existence since 2017 before the conduct of local government elections in Plateau State revealed through their leader, Mr. Hilary Dema Laplit after their congress meeting in Piapung that what influenced their decision to support Daika’s tickets as a perfect replacement in the red Chamber of the National Assembly is not just because he is a party man but because of his tracked records and legislative experience that if given such opportunity, will yield positive results to the zone, the state and Nigeria as a whole.

Laplit also disclosed that they also have other groups with similar aims and interest across Mikang and the entire zone and that arrangements are already in top gear to receive many decampees from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) who are no more comfortable with the party because of the high level of injustice, under-development within southern Plateau and the state, undemocratic practices and poor reward system in the party which they can not longer bear with.

The youth group said, they are very much optimistic and hopeful that Rt. Hon. George Edward Daika will win the election with a large margins and that they are also working tirelessly in order to achieve that.
