Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre recently donated 190 tricycle wheelchairs and 35 crutches in Katsina, bringing joy and mobility to people with disabilities. They donated 100 wheelchairs and 15 crutches to the Member representing Musawa and Matazu Federal Constituency for distribution to needy constituents.

Sandra Yilgwan, Media Officer of Beautiful Gate, presented the donations, encouraging beneficiaries to shun street begging and pursue education or vocational training for financial independence. Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed, the representative, expressed gratitude and urged beneficiaries to use the items positively.

The Executive Governor of Katsina State, represented by his deputy Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, acknowledged Beautiful Gate’s philanthropic efforts, citing the significant impact on people with disabilities in the state. He requested continued support in reaching those still in need of mobility aids.

Beautiful Gate also visited Danmusa Local Government Area, donating 90 wheelchairs and 20 crutches to the Chairman Hon.Sanusi Abass Dangi. Although the event was initially scheduled for the Council secretariat, it was relocated to Yantumaki community due to security concerns. The Council representative Hon.Hayatu Dantakuri
Leader Danmusa LG appreciated the team’s efforts, acknowledging the government’s efforts to restore peace in the community. Sandra Yilgwan encouraged beneficiaries to use their time positively and avoid criminal activities, she also encouraged parents and caregivers of children with special needs to enrol them in school as every child is a gift from God.
