Beautiful Gate Handicapped people Center Jos, yesterday the 25 March 2024 in collaboration with the member representing Charanci and Batagarawa Federal Constituency Architect Umar Murtaa Banye in the Federal House of Representatives Abuja, donated 100 wheelchairs to people with special needs in Charanci of Katsina state.

The event had in attendance dignitaries from the state and Local government areas in the state.

Speaking on behalf of the Honorable member Representing Charanci, Kurfi and Batagarawa federal constituency, Yahaya Galadima urged all beneficiaries to make positive use of the wheelchairs by enrolling in school or to learn a trade, he assured them of the Honorable willingness to work and support all activities of People living with Disabilities.

He further announced the donation of 5000 naira each to every beneficiary.

In the same vein, Miss Sandra Nanbam Yilgwan, Director of media and communication, Beautiful Gate Handicapped people Center Jos encouraged the beneficiaries to put more efforts in their studies and businesses, Sandra also cautioned them against selling the wheelchairs.

She further called on beneficiaries to know that there is no limitations to greatness, relating it to the progress and successes, and funding of Beautiful gate
She concluded with an appeal to the state government and other government agencies to prioritize the empowerment of people living with Disabilities and to support them where possible to contribute positively to society.
