Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center Jos Donated 230 Tricycle Wheelchairs to PWDs In Jigawa.
In its effort to cushion the sufferings of People Living with Disabilities in Nigeria, Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center Jos donated 100 wheelchairs in Yankwashi LGA and 130 wheelchairs in Dutse Jigawa state.

In his remark, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan the CEO of the foundation said this gesture from his organization was birthed out of compassion for the needy, He added that the wheelchairs are provided to discourage street begging and dependence on others and to encourage those within school range to enroll in School and for the those that can’t go back to school to either learn a craft or trade.
Dr. Ron Rice a partner of Beautiful Gate from the US said, his church and other churches around cue into the project because of the living conditions of polio survivors, he also added that the name Beautiful Gate was found in the Bible and is linked to the miracle of healing a lame man by Peter and John, in his words ” we at Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center cannot perform the same miracle, with the love of Jesus, we are replicating it by giving out wheelchairs which will serve as legs to those that are incapacitated.

Responding, the Chairman of Yankwashi LGA Alhaji Mubarak Ahmed appreciated the love shown to his people by Beautiful Gate, he said despite the religious and ethnic differences, the foundation considered his people worthy of such gifts, he called on people of Yankwashi to emulate what Beautiful Gate did.
Also, the Member representing Dutse/ Kiyawa Federal Constituency Hon. Dahiru Madaki Katuka who hosted the foundation in Dutse was delighted that his constituents were among the beneficiaries of the foundation’s kind gesture, he said this will spur him to do more for the PWDs in his constituency and prayed for God to continually bless and protect the Beautiful gate team.
The two events took place at the Yankwashi Local Government Secretariat and the PDP state Secretariat Dutse.
