To emulate christ and show love to the persons with disability , Beautiful gate handicap People Centre Jos has donated wheelchairs to disability people in Langtang North Local government of Plateau state to mark 2024 Easter Celebration,

Beautiful Gate in partnership with the wife of the Transition implementation Committee Chairman of Lantang North, Mrs Elizabeth Godwin Kumzhi, yesterday 29 March 2024, during a programme tagged, “Empowering Ability” shared Love with people living with disabilities donated 50 Tricycle wheelchairs and 10 Crutches in Lantang North local government area.

The Chief executive officer Beautiful Gate handicapped people centre, Chief Ayuba Gufwan who was ably represented by Director media and communications Miss Sandra Nanbam Yilgwan called on the Local Government chairman to prioritize the needs of people living with disabilities in the locality by empowering them.

she also called on the beneficiaries to use the tricycles to enroll in school or learn a trade.

Sandra told the beneficiaries that beautiful Gate is reaching out to them with these gifts during Easter to share the love of Jesus with them.

Earlier in her speech, wife of the council Chairman, Mrs Elizabeth Godwin Kumzhi said I am delighted to address you today as wife of the chairman on the occasion of the distribution of wheelchairs and crutches which is aimed at bringing succour to the less privileged who have been undermined in our society as a result of the circumstances they find themselves.”

This programme is done in order to ease the movement of our brothers and sisters who are physically challenged as they strive towards making daily living for themselves.”
She further appreciated council management team and stake holders for their untiring support to ensure that the programme is a huge success.

Mrs Elizabeth also called on beneficiaries not to sell or misuse the items given to them for free but make judicious use of it to help themselves and make positive impact in the society.
