Beautiful Gate CEO Donates 27 white canes to school for the blind Gindiri

Founder and CEO of the Beautiful gate People handicapped Center Jos Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan has today donated 27 White Canes to school for the Blind in Gindiri

The programme started with a welcoming song by the choir of the school and the new life for All group.

Chief Ayuba Burki in his speech said “we have been confronted with security and covid-19 and is a pleasure to visit you once again.”

“We would have love to come when the world celebrated the world white canes day but thank God we are here today.”

He said it is always his pleasure and delight to visit them.

He is happy that the students are happy and with the warm rendation of song presentation.

He charge students to use the opportunity for the task ahead.

Giving an example with the story of Jesus Christ and the blind man, when such challenges occur people always want to look for blame but Jesus Christ said the man was born blind to glorify the name of God.

He urged the students to be determine and know that God expect so much from them.

“Take your studies very seriously and know that everything happens for a purpose and when you find the purpose of your life then you will live a fulfill live.”

He wish that govement will pick this as a challenge to come to the aid of people living with disability especially students.

Ayuba Burki further said, “for us at the Beautiful gate we will come back again and again to offer our support to the school in cash or in kind.

“It is our desire and we pray that you will not let the school, your parents, the foundation and anybody who is supporting you down.”

Earlier, in her welcoming address Mrs Roseline Haruna Danyaya, Principal School for the Blind Gindiri while welcoming the founder and CEO of the Beautiful gate People handicapped Center said the school was founded in 1953 by the Europeans United Sudan and it was handed over to Church of Christ in Nation (COCIN) in 1970 and since then the school have been facing numerous challenges, but thank God for COCIN, because they have been given them grant.

“Our major challenges is feeding of the students which is a big challenge to us.
Our students pay only Three Thousand naira 3000 as school fees and is a big challenge to some of the students.”

“We don’t have a resource room where we can keep our materials and other stuff. We also need a computer lab as the world is going global, we also can use computer and a clinic that we can take care of our students when they’re sick. We need a printer and a photo copier. Mr. Gufwan is always a friend to the school for the Blind”

She appreciated the founder Beautiful gate People handicap center and prayed God to bless him and increase the foundation.

Chairplain of the Gindiri the School Rev. Dimfa Mamshal who was Represented by Rev.Eli Well Bang Assistant Chairplain on behalf of the proprietor of the School appreciated the Chief Gufwan for providing the school with the white canes.

He pleaded that government should reconsider giving the school grants because the school is a place of hope

however the Beautiful also donated a wheelchair to Mr. Hayatu Kabiru a 32 year young man from Pyem Community in Gindiri who had an acident and broke his leg and was hospitalised but is unable to walk again.
