Information available to us shows that the Special Task Force in Barkin Ladi LGA, has arrested 11 herdsmen with arms and ammunitions.

The arrest came at the backdrop of a tip-off by locals who gave vital information about their clandestine activities. The individuals were arrested with 5 AK47 rifles and 2 round of live cartridges.

Friday Musa (number 11 on the list), was said to be their informant, who works hand in hand with the assailants, giving vital information about the state of protectiveness and vulnerability of each village etc.
