Attack in Sha village of bokkos leaves 2 dead, as youth in Jos Protest

Sha, the village visited by the late Saf Ron (Lazarus Agai) witnessed an attack last night, with 2 people killed and scores injured and displaced from the area.

In a brazen attack yesterday, herdsmen were said to have struck the village, shooting indiscriminately, killing 2 people and injuring many. St. Patricks catholic church, situated in the east side of the village was said to have been burnt, with the house of the priest leveled to the ground.

At the time of filing this report, normalcy had somewhat returned to the area, but most of the villagers had deserted in fear of further attacks.

On a separate note, youth of Plateau state under several umbrella organisations have organised protests to register their displeasure ove the assassination of the royal father. Gathering at Airport junction in Jos, wearing black and holding banners, the youth carried inscriptions registering their displeasure and asking government to act swiftly.
