News available to ViewPointNigeria indicates that the Nigerian Army has commissioned two twin chalet buildings at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru in Plateau State.

The buildings which were commissioned by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai at the weekend are fully finished and equipped. The buildings which were named after the Chief of Army Staff are called ‘Lt TY Buratai chalets’.

At the commissioning, Buratai who was represented by the Director General, Nigeria Army Rescue Centre, Major General John Hamakim said the idea of the chalets was conceived when the COAS visited NIPSS to deliver a lecture and was informed of the infrastructural challenges facing the institute.
