Reports reaching ViewpointNigeria suggest that another bomb blast has occured in Nyanya at about 9pm on Thursday 1st May 2014, around Nyanya, Abuja killing over 7 people. 

At the time of filing in this report, security agencies have condoned off the scene of the attack, preventing reporters and relatives from accessing the scene.

One of our partners/correspondents at the Asokoro General Hospital reported that he saw at least 7 dead bodies brought in by ambulances from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). 

With the pre-planned Nigerian Economic Forum slated for next week in Abuja, this would be a massive blow and many delegates may elect to stay away given the growing insecurity. 

This would be the second bomb blast in Nyanya in a space of less than one month.
