American Preacher, Pastor Dan Horn task Nigerian Christians to seek God face for total healing of the land.

Nigeria is facing consistent and daunting challenges because Christians have failed to sincerely pray for Gods intervention in the affairs of men in the country.

Pastor Daniel Horn of the Reformation Baptist Church, North Carolina in the United States of America stated this as Guest Preacher during an interdenominational crusade held in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

He revealed that consistent acts of insincerity and lack of the fear of God in acts of governance at various levels is further contributing to the problems facing the citizenry.

“The society is so corrupt and those who called themselves Christians are not exception, I was passing and arriving a checking point I have seen the security collecting bribe, how can our society be great when Christians are not obedient to God.”

Pastor Horn also said Christian praises and worship is in vain, unless they obey God and do his will, saying Christians should know that true salvation is not seen through baptism or work but through walking in righteousness

He added that Nigeria as a developing nation is facing consistent and daunting challenges because Christians have failed to sincerely pray for Gods intervention in the affairs of men in the country

“Nigeria is known world wide with the reputation of unjust people, therefore Only those who practice righteousness will inherit the kingdom of God, we are not saved by work but we’re saved by faith for we are new creature in Jesus Christ. Works are not a means of salvation, we are therefore encouraged to show our faith by our works.

The American clergy urged Christians in to repeat and seek the face of God for the cleansing and total healing of the land.

“Jesus Christ manifested to take our sins away, the holy spirit itself is God.
Many preachers in Nigeria do take scriptures and turn it to please them, this is not what God want, God made a promise with his people that he will place his words in their mouth and write it in their heart and this is what the topic arise and shine the world is encouraging.

He advised Christians in the country to be more than ever before repent and turned God for remedy to the socio-economic and political problems bedeviling the nation.

“Jesus Christ is the light of the world he came to save us from condemnation.
50 percent of people in Nigeria call themselves Christians but the world know us as people living in darkness. Let the righteousness of God be seen in our lives and until then Nigeria can over come it’s challenges”

Earlier, the CAN chairman of Tafawa Balewa local government, Rev. Markus M. Musa assured the local government council chairman and the general public of fruitful crusade, he appreciated the guest speaker Pastor Dan Hunt and his team for coming all the way the United States of America to change and transform the lives of many and win souls to God.

Musa acknowledged the Visiting Pastor’s commitment towards transforming rural areas for the better.

He also advised the residents of the area to take advantage of this crusade so as to make better use of their lives.

Hon. Daniel Mazadu Danjuma, the Executive Chairman Tafawa Balewa Local Government area Bauchi state., appreciated the organisers of the crusade saying that when God people pray and cry out to God in faithfulness, God will surely answer and solved our problems.

Mazadu noted that the crusade would not have come at a better time than now when the county needs a fundamental direction out of it’s prevailing circumstances.

He urged Christians in the area to re-dedicate themselves to God by allowing Him work in their lives for the good of the land.

“I urge us all to pray for peace in our local government, state and Nigeria at large”
