As Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid el-Fitr, Alfred Dapal has joined thousands of other well-wishers to celebrate with Muslims on the Plateau and Nigeria at large.

In a Press Statement by his media team, Mr. Dapal said this year’s Eid el-Fitr has presented another opportunity to not only reflect on the good tidings of Prophet Mohammed SWT but to passionately propagate the virtues of peace and unity in order to help stabilise the state and country at large, noting that “peace is the most promising solution to the pressing problems confronting mankind.”

Dapal also noted that the ultimate purpose of Islam is for the promotion of love and shared humanity and in that spirit, he called on both Christians and Muslims to unite as a wave of change and embrace love so as to defeat evil entangling the World.

He further admonished the Muslim Ummah to hearken strictly to the advisory of President Muhammadu Buhari and Sultan of Sokoto in their separate remarks calling for a low-key and decent celebrations as a way of containing the ravaging menace of Covid-19.

While wishing them a successful and epoch-making celebration, he said there must be a sustained effort to secure a peaceful and prosperous future for Plateau State.
