Our attention has been drawn to the Purported expulsion of our former national Secretary, Dr. James Okoroma and sixteen other Party members.

The truth is that Engr. sani who was suspended by the NATIONAL WORKING COMMITTEE (NWC) of our Party lacks the power to suspend any member.

We therefore wish to inform the general public and relevant authorities that all the National excos, the state and local government excos of the party remained unchanged and should carry out their functions as may be required by the party.

Action Democratic Party remains the only credible alternative political party in the country and we are committed to ensuring that we hold the party in such high standards.

Engr Yabagi Yusuf Sani remains suspended until the investigation around his misconduct and corruption allegations are sufficiently carried out.

By this notice, the media and all relevant stakeholders are put on notice to cease any further interaction in respect of the party with Engr. Sani.

Alh. Najeem Awodele (Former Minister of state for Agriculture) is the current acting national chairman of ADP and all further correspondence should go to him or myself.

We call on all members of our great party both home and diaspora to continue with their normal activities for the benefit of the party and the nation as a whole.
