The Acting Governor of Adamawa State and Chairman of the Congress Committee, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri has emerge winner of the PDP primaries for the October, 11th, 2014, bye governorship election.

Fintiri won with 624 votes, while Dr. Modibbo came a distant 2nd after he scored 197.

Retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa got 54 votes, while Dr. Arod and Jery Kundisi scored 09 and 04 votes respectively.

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oladimeji Bankole who announced the result at 4.03am Sunday morning said 23 invalid votes were discovered.
