In line with the vision of the Rescue Administration in Plateau State to create economic opportunities to support growth in all sectors, the Governor of the State, Barr. Simon Lalong has approved the appointment of Mr. Haggai Gutap as the Director General of the newly established Plateau State Micro-finance Development Agency.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Emmanuel Nanle, the Director, Press and Public affairs to Governor Lalong and made available to newsmen yesterday in Jos.

The statement reads that “Mr. Gutap holds a Master of Science Degree in Development Economics from the University of Jos and is a Certified Micro Finance Practitioner of the Central Bank of Nigeria and a member of the Enterprise Development Experts Institute of Zambia “

He has 11 years of experience in Pension Management and Enterprise Development.”

The statement further reads that “Until his appointment, he was the Managing Director of Finger Tips Enterprise Development Partners based in Abuja and his appointment is with immediate effect “.
