VPN lead citizen reporter Dakwom Longgul reports from Jos, Plateau State
A prominent youth advocate and Convener of the Concerned Tarok Youths for Good Governance and Zero Tolerance for Bad Leadership, Comr. Nanla Nanzing, is calling on the Tarok Nation to prioritize proven legislative experience over political sentiment by supporting the return of Hon. Beni Butmak Lar to the House of Representatives.
Speaking at a press conference in Jos, Nanzing emphasized that effective representation should be judged strictly by tangible impact, performance, and courageous leadership rather than the length of time a representative has spent in public office.
Highlighting her 16-year track record representing the Langtang North and Langtang South Federal Constituency, Nanzing noted that Hon. Lar’s tenure brought unprecedented national visibility, strategic infrastructure, and life-changing empowerment programs to women, youths, and vulnerable households.
He pointed out her effective legislative leadership as former Chairperson of key House Committees including Human Rights as well as Science and Technology, as clear proof that her vast political network and deep understanding of governance remain invaluable assets for the constituency’s future growth.
Concluding his address, Nanzing called on traditional rulers, political stakeholders, elders, and young voters across the Tarok Nation to unite behind tested, result-oriented leadership.
He insisted that returning Hon. Lar to the National Assembly is the most strategic path to ensuring that the rights, interests, and developmental priorities of the people of Langtang North and South continue to be strongly defended on the national stage
