Dakwom Long’gul. Reports from KWA, PLATEAU STATE
The Plateau State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Ernest Da’a, arrived in his hometown today to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary elections.
Hon. Da’a, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Qua’an Pan Local Government Council, cast his vote at his designated polling unit in Kwa Ward, located within the Qua’an Pan Local Government Area.
Speaking to reporters shortly after exercising his civic duty, Hon. Da’a praised the orderly conduct of the primary election and commended party faithful for turning out en masse.
He emphasized that the peaceful atmosphere at the grassroots level reflects the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and structural cohesion.
“Our presence here today is a testament to the fact that the strength of our party lies with the people at the grassroots,”
Da’a stated. “The Renewed Hope movement is firmly rooted in the communities, and we are confident that this process will produce a candidate capable of uniting the nation and driving transformative development.”
As the state lead for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors—a prominent mobilization front championing the administration’s socio-economic reforms—Hon. Da’a’s participation in Kwa Ward underscores a strategic effort to solidify party loyalty in the southern zone of Plateau State.
Local party executives and supporters in Kwa Ward welcomed the coordinator, describing his presence as a significant morale booster for rural delegates and voters.
Early reports from various polling stations across the local government area indicate a smooth accreditation and voting process, with security agencies present to maintain law and order. The outcome of the ward-level voting will contribute to the broader state delegates’ pool as the APC consolidates its internal mechanisms ahead of the national convention.
