The Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, representing the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency, has called on constituents to prioritize experienced leadership as he toured Chip and Jiblik wards to showcase his developmental scorecard.

During his visit to Chip Ward, the lawmaker described himself as a “son of the soil” who has tirelessly labored for the Chip Chiefdom. He emphasized that true leadership is defined by the tangible progress brought to the people.
“He who brings development to his people is the one that can be called a leader,” Gagdi stated. “I have done my part, and you are witnesses to these efforts.”
Addressing the importance of legislative longevity, Gagdi argued that a longer tenure in Parliament translates to greater experience and better results for the constituency. Comparing his service to a “good seed” that has germinated, he urged the people to support his bid for a third term during the upcoming primaries, promising that his victory would remain a victory for the people.
The momentum shifted to Jiblik Ward, where the lawmaker met with constituents at the Abwordyis community hall—a facility constructed under his administration. Gagdi utilized the venue to reflect on his track record, specifically highlighting:
Employment: Securing permanent job opportunities for the youth of Jiblik.
Education: Sponsoring JAMB fees for all secondary school students in the area.
Infrastructure: Delivering clean water projects and community buildings.

Gagdi issued a challenge to the electorate, urging them to demand accountability from other aspirants. “Ask those coming to campaign what they have actually done for this community,” he challenged, noting that he has consistently fulfilled his political promises.
In a show of reconciliation, Gagdi reached out to those who may not have supported him in the previous two election cycles, soliciting their partnership for the journey ahead.Responding on behalf of the community, the APC Chairman of Jiblik Ward expressed profound gratitude for the “visible dividends of democracy” brought to the ward. He specifically lauded the lawmaker’s efforts in providing water and empowerment opportunities, noting that the impact of Gagdi’s representation is felt across the grassroots level.
