Bet9ja Foundation has added another milestone to its record by bagging two prestigious awards at the CSR Reporters Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA) 2024. The Foundation was recognized for its exceptional contributions under the categories: CSR Award for Inclusive Development of Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) and Community Champion of the Year (NGO).
These accolades highlight the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to driving impactful change across Nigeria. Since its inception, Bet9ja Foundation has centered its efforts on key pillars: Healthcare, Education, Community Infrastructure, Sports Development, and Youth Development. Within just one year, the Foundation has executed over 130 projects in 29 states, investing more than ₦500 million to create tangible, life-changing impacts.

The awards ceremony, themed “Towards a Sustainable Future: Enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility for a Sustainable and Inclusive Development,” was held at the Civic Centre Tower in Lagos. The event commenced at 3PM and brought together industry leaders, corporate organizations, and NGOs committed to creating sustainable impacts. In his keynote address, Ziad Maalouf, Managing Director/CEO of Seven Bottling Company, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in driving social change. “Our work is not just about the impact we create directly; it is about inspiring others to join us in building a sustainable future,” he noted.
Receiving the awards on behalf of Bet9ja Foundation, Vice President Mrs. Ada Cuomo expressed gratitude and reiterated the Foundation’s dedication to creating meaningful change. “Impact is not just about the money; it’s about the lives we invest in” In over one year, we’ve made strides across education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and community development.
