To mark his 100 days in office and to consolidate the policy direction of his government, the Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon Simon Lalong has made sweeping reforms and changes in the Plateau civil service.
In a communique released this evening (5th September) and signed by the Head of Service, Mrs. Hulda Nanbam Fwangchi, the communique confirmed that there were three categories of changes made (1) Appointments (2) Sackings or Appointment-reversals/demotions (3) Retirements.
All of these are to take-off with immediate effect.
(1) Individuals Appointed as new Permanent Secretaries
The following individuals have been appointed as substansive permanent secretaries.
(a) Mr. Stephen Pam Gadon (b) Mr. Thomas Chollom (c) Mr. Moses Nwan (d) Mr. Cornelius Shiolbial (e) Mr. Samuel Nguma (f) Mr. Sani Yahaya Mavo (g) Mr. Henry Laankwap (h) Mr. Gwatau Habila Abel (i) Mr. Ambrose Zwalnuang (j) Barrister James Giwa (k) Mr. James Yilnaan (l) Mrs. Julia Wuyep
(2) Current Permanent Secretaries who have been sacked/demoted
The following serving permanent secretaries who were hitherto appointed by the past administration have now been reverted back to their prior positions before the appointments. These are:
(a) Mrs. Vou Samuel Dido (b) Dr. Ezekiel Pam (c) Mr. SundayBiggs (d) Mr. Solomon Dawal (e) Mr. Wuyep G. Rajib (f) Mr. Julius Shinkur (g) Mr. Dagwon S. Davou (h) Mrs. Hannatu G. Datong (i) Mr. SundayG. Farmson
(3) Current Permanent Secretaries who have been retired
The following long serving permanent secretaries are also said to have been retired with immediate effect.
