Plateau State Commissioner for Finance, Regina Soemlat alongside critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Lankan ward in Pankshin Local Government Area have toured all the polling units in Lankan and other wards within Pankshin to woo electorates to cast their votes to the party’s candidates contesting in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assemblies election.
The Commissioner who was elated with the massive turnout of party supporters in all the places visited expressed hope that all the party’s candidates would emerge victorious at Saturday’s elections.
The Commissioner while calling on the people to vote the Governorship candidate of APC Dr Nentawe Yilwatda and the party’s Houses of Assemblies candidate for Pankshin North and South Denty Laven and Luka Mantu said Plateau people have a lot to gain if APC retains power.
The Commissioner described the APC Governorship candidate Dr Nentawe as a highly resourceful leader and said the former INEC guru possesses the experience, exposure, and capacity to lead the State successfully.
Regina Soemlat equally appreciated people of Pankshin Local Government for voting APC candidates during the last general elections and called on them to do same during the the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
Senior Legislative Aide to the member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency, Mizim Dagung expressed optimism that with the large turnout of party supporters in all the places visited, APC will emerge victorious during the election.
Councilor representing Lankan ward at the Pankshin Local Government Legislative Arm, Yilret Dasar, representatives of youths, women, and elders among many others assured the Commissioner that they will mobilize people to vote for all the candidates of APC during the Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections to emerge victorious at the polls.
