Also at the event were several Plateau citizens resident in Abuja and Jos, making it the first of its kind, where Plateau Youth took the initiative to challenge the Federal Government to action. Speaking on behalf of the youth, Miss Kate Pam (one of the event organisers) – drew the attention of the Federal Government to the fact that attacks in the state have become a daily occurrence -with death tolls reaching 10 per week. They called on the Federal Government to give the same attention, that the North East is receiving to the Middle belt, especially Jos South, Riyom and Barkin Ladi, which have witnessed attacks which can only be described as genocidal.

And another being organised by Plateau State Association, UK in London, slated for Friday 4th September 2015 at the Nigerian High Commission, near Trafalgar square at 12:00 noon prompt.
