The Coalition of Plateau Youths has registered its displeasure in the way the nation is governed and frowned at the rape by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recently concluded party primaries.
In a press release signed by Dapul P and Agyambyal A of the Coalition of Plateau Youths cautioned that Democracy is not practised through a stolen mandate and you cannot build an empire based on family affiliation. The Youths were angry that the Governor populated the APC primary elections committee with his younger brother, cousin and government appointees.
The Coalition is unhappy but wants the world to know that the Plateau Youths have been robbed of their rights to participation in the recent electoral process of both the PDP and the APC.
The Youths promised not to forgive generation next that does not respect the rule of law but embraced and celebrated imposition.
The Coalition hinted that it has video evidence of the recent show of shame in the APC primary elections and will stop at nothing until justice is served.
The Youths promised to continue the fight for justice and wouldn’t keep quiet in the midst of oppression.
The group were at the APC headquarters in Kalwa House to submit their petition and complaints to the State Chairman of the APC, who was received by the State Organizing Secretary Comrade Philip Adik.
The Coalition also paid solidarity visit to Chief Amos Gizo, the Chairman of the Forum of Plateau State All Progressives Congress Governorship Aspirants to brief him on their visit to the APC State Secretariat, Jos.
Gizo thanked them for fighting for their rights as injustice to one is injustice to all.
