We give thanks to God that the charged Political atmosphere in the recent past as a result of the anticipated BYE-ELECTIONS for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency and Pankshin South State Constituency have now finally settled peacefully.

Now that winners have emerged in both the main Political Party, All Progressives Party(APC) and opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), I congratulate the winners and challenge them to ensure the interest of the people should be their guiding principle in the discharge of their duties.

To our APC candidate, Chief Ezra Dakup, who was elected to Represent the good people of Pankshin South in the Plateau State House of Assembly, consider your election as a call to service for the interest of your constituency and greater Plateau.

And Hon Musa Aviah Agah of the Peoples Democratic Party, the voice of the people have spoken through the ballot boxes, about who to represent them and it rested upon your shoulders.

Accept my congratulations as I urge you to reciprocate the trust bestowed upon you by representing the people to the best of your abilities by adding value and development to your constituency.

Let me equally use this rare opportunity to salute the Leader of the Rescue Team and Executive Governor of Plateau State, RT HON SIMON BAKO LALONG, for his exemplary leadership and providing the enabling environment for the peaceful conduct of the elections, and the electorate for exercising their franchise in an orderly manner.

Once more, congratulations to all people of Jos North / Bassa and Pankshin South Constituencies for a successful Bye – Elections.
