Apparently motivated by what the Bible teaches “Whoever is generous to the poor, lends to the Lord and he will repay him for his deeds”, Hon. Ziphion Chrysanthus exemplified practical love for humanity yesterday being the 22nd of January 2022 as his birthday celebrations came to an eclipse.
Together with a high-profile delegation, Hon. Chrysanthus not only visited, spoke inspiring words of encouragement but also generously donated food items and other relief materials to help in ameliorating the condition of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who are currently domiciled in their numbers at Durumi Area 1 Abuja.
The IDPs with women and children below the age of 10 constituting the majority came as fleeing residents of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe in the wake of Boko Haram Insurgency. They happily received Hon. Chrysanthus and his entourage and profoundly expressed their heartfelt thanks for the practical demonstration of love, noting that what he did was capable of leaving footprints in the sands of history because he remembered them in their squalid conditions.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Chrysanthus spoke in an emotion-laden voice and impressed upon the IDPs not to relinquish their hopes and aspirations but keep their faith in God alive and explore different but legitimate avenues to be successful in life. He said the visit was borne out of a deep conviction that life matters and life ought to be touched in positive ways. He also noted that as God opens more doors, he will continue to do his best for the most vulnerable members of humanity so as to make life a meaningful reality on earth.
The visit was also greeted by prayers and other goodwill messages
