It is important for anyone that aspires to lead to be well equipped and ready for the mammoth challenges and expectations that comes with Leadership.
Dr Elkanah Garang who is well experienced, has great connections, is energetic and mobile and his vest knowledge cuts across many disciplines and ultimately his approach to leadership is community based.
For a good Legislator one needs some qualities that will stand him out to become a great representative that will meet the growing demands and yarnings of his constituents.
Quite important, a Legislator MUST be Smart, Connected, intelligent, Experienced and a great Lobbyist. These attributes are key and we do not expect our people to ignore them while we prepare for the 2023 polls.
In all my interface with Dr Elkanah Garang and testimonies received so far, you will agree with me that he is indeed ready for the task ahead, he also understands that excuse will not be tolerated by the people of Mangu | Bokkos as they have in recent times fallen short of quality Leadership that is desired for their Constituency.
Let the records be straight, Dr Elkanah Garang who do not yet occupy any political office has brought succour to many communities in Bokkos and Mangu and even beyond through his initiative of massive Rehabilitation of Boreholes in various communities, he has supplied medical equipments to Primary Health Care Centres in rural communities to help in providing medical care to patients and has paid medical bills for alot of people who could not afford to. He has sponsored athletes from the constituency to marathon and other sporting and Youth activities within the state and at National level and many more that we will capture properly in our subsequent articles.
These gesture of benevolence shown by Dr Elkanah is a great indication that if given the responsibility of Leadership can do better and put smiles on the faces of the entire people of Mangu and Bokkos.
I urge all and sundry to support this aspiration(Movement) as it will attract innovativeness and true Dividends of Democracy.
