The Plateau State ‘APC G11″ group has endorsed the candidature of Hon Ishaya Itse for the position of the State Chairman of the party in the forthcoming APC Congresses.
Chairman of the APC group, Mr Daya Nashak Joshua said the endorsement of Hon. Itse was taken after a careful deliberation and considerations of his antecedent towards the growth of the party over the years.
Joshua further stressed that the APC G11 believes in the qualities of Hon. Ishaya Itse which can take the party to a greater heights in the state and the country at large.
He stated this when the group paid a courtesy visit to the aspirant at his residence yesterday in Jos the Plateau State capital.
The Chairman pointed that they were at his residence to “identify and endorsed him to contest for the State Chairmanship of the All Progressive Congress (APC)” in forthcoming Congress in the State.
The APC, State Chairmanship aspirant Hon. Ishaya Itse commended the ‘APC G11 Plateau State’ griup for their solidarity and identifying with him. Itse assured them that he would leave no stone unturned to sustain the party and place it on a high pedestal if he emerged at the Congress.
He urged all party faithfuls to contribute to the success of the congresses in the state by abiding to the guidelines of the party.
According Itse “the APC wards, Local Governments and States Congresses are aimed at strengthening the party to have a solid foundation and build a culture of competence, character and sound principles among its followers and leaders,” in the democratic journey of the country.
Itse used the occasion to commend Governor Simon Lalong and the state Caretaker working committee for putting every machinery in place to ensure a hitch free congresses.
He equally urged his supporters to continue to conduct themselves peacefully while working towards strengthening the party to be the best political party not only in the country but the continent.
