More Pictures from Simon Lalong’s inauguration

Chief Joshua Dariye, Pauline Tallen and other Plateau big weights features prominently at Simon Lalong’s inauguration today.

Conspicously absent though, was Jonah Jang – the outgoing governor, but was ably represented by his deputy, Amb. Ignatius Longjan who performed the necessary gubernatorial rights and handover processes.

It would be recalled that ahead of the inauguration today, Governor Jang and his team made frantic efforts to tidy up loosed ends and handover key documents, assets etc to the transition committee and as such decided to stay away from the grand ceremony.
