As messages pour in from prominent Nigerians congratulating Governor Nasiru El-rufai on his 61 birthday anniversary, former interim Chairman of Kaduna North, Usman Ibrahim popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa/San Turakin Hausa has joined in sending a good will message to the Governor whom he described as a blessing to Kaduna state. thanks
In a tarsed statement to media houses, Hon Ibrahim lauded groundbreaking developmental projects aimed to change the outlook of Kaduna Urban centre, saying the state would be totally modernized and upgraded to the standard of big European within the second term of governor El-rufai.
He mentioned urban renewal projects, education, socio-economy, civil service reform, open governance, transparency in allocation of resources among others as achievements recorded by the administration of El-rufai, adding that people of the state would appreciate the governor due to indelible marks he would have left for all to see at the end of his stewardship in 2023.
He stated that the Governor had never failed to impress all and deliver on core mandates he was given in previous engagements in public office, adding that privatization programme of former president Olusegun Obasanjo was successful due to immense contributions of El-rufai as head of Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE) which was the body saddled to drive privatization policies of the first civilian administration in the 4th Republic.
“El-rufai is credited to have restored the Abuja Master plan which was the foundation upon which other developments geared towards giving the capital city a befitting status.
“A man who is passionate about seeing that affairs of governance are carried out according to laid down rules and regulations should be our role model in today’s Political thrives.
“All I can wish him today as he marks productive 61 years on earth, is more plenty years of service to God, country and people so that he will be remembered as a man who despite adversaries and opposition from foes, could turn things around for the good of his people, ” he said.
