Senator Gyang expresses condolences as chief Jethro Akun is laid to rest

Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District and Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Defense Sen. Istifanus Gyang has expresses condolences as chief Jethro Akun is laid to rest today.

Gyang in a condolences message signed and issued by his Special Assistant, Media & Protocol Hon. Musa Ibrahim Ashoms described Akun as a Political leader who participated and contributed to the politics and governance of Plateau State.

“The demise of Chief Jethro Akun the Saf Mabol of Ron Kulere has taken from our clime an empathetic service oriented elder and statesman. As a political leader, he participated and contributed to the politics and governance of Plateau state. This we owe in honour of his memory says Senator I. D. Gyang of Plateau North.

Senator Gyang had earlier visited the family of the deceased at their Rayfield residence to comfort and identify with them over the loss.

Senator Gyang and the people of Plateau North further commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased, the Bokkos LGA as well as Plateau state and the nation at large over his death.

He however pray for the Lord grant his soul eternal rest, amen.
