APC stakeholders of Qua’an Pan LGA of Plateau State have unanimously agreed to join forces to educate and mobilize its members on the importance of party registration, stressing that the exercise is the foundation of the rights of individuals within the party.
At the meeting held at the LGA headquarters in Baap on Saturday towards the APC registration exercise commencing Monday also adopted measures to ensure massive turnout and participations of its members within the locality.
The meeting cautioned against discrimination and encouraged members to mobilize and embrace all non members to join the party, while holding firm to the existing ones.
The stakeholders also used the meeting to harp on the dangers of Covid – 19 and encouraged people to always wear face masks to avoid persecution and possible fine of N20,000:00, as well as observe all safety protocols.
On her part, Senator representing Plateau south Prof. Dame Nora Ladi Daduut thanked the people for mandate given to her and promised to revisit all her campaign routes in the six LGAs of Senatorial District to appreciate them.
The meeting, which was presided over by the LGA party chairman Musa Isa, had in attendance the Council Chairman, Abdulmalik Yusuf Haruna, his deputy, legislative and council members, members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, former Local Government Council Chairmen and top government and party officials, and critical stakeholders from the 11 Federal Wards of the Local Government Area.
