Philanthropist promise to empower Youth and women, unite Christians and Muslims in Plateau

A Philanthropist and Businessman in Plateau State Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq popularly known as Sadiq Plaza has disclosed that his focus and priority is to empower Youth and women in Plateau State as well as Unites both Christian and Muslims.

Sadiq stated this while Speaking with Journalists on Saturday when he attended the Combined 70th and 60th birthday celebration of Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, Deputy Governor of Plateau State and Mrs. Abigail Abike Tyoden and the presentation of a book tiled, “Intellectuals in Politics: Perspectives in roles and legacies in Public Life, held at Government House Rayfield Jos, Plateau State.

He said Humanitarian service is part of his life, saying given support to the needy and poor in the society should be the primary aimed of every individual.

“The Holy Scriptures both the Bible and Quaran teachers  us to help those in need when we have, so is because of that teaching that i find joy and happiness while given out support and assistance to the poor and needy in our society”.

Alhaji Sadiq also expressed willingness and zeal to promote Peace in the four Local Government Areas of Plateau North which include Jos North, Jos South, Bassa, Barkin and Riyom Local Government Areas.

“Whenever iam doing an empowerment programme or project I always ensure that both Christians benefit while projects are located in both the Christian and Muslims communities”.

Sadiq Plaza who was also a guest during the Combined  birthday expressed excitement for the invitation to be part of the celebration and described the Deputy Governor Professor Sonni Tyoden as good man and Politician of repute.
