Plateau State Government has build a 40 million naira plant for the installation of a new KBA RAPIDA 105 Digital Printing Machine (German built) at the Plateau Printing Press. Accompanied by the Permanent secretary of the Ministry Micheal Pam alongside the Directors, Plateau State Commissioner of Information and Communication Hon. Dan Manjang reiterated that the rescue administration remain committed to ensure prudent and judicious utilisation of Government assets and resources. The Commissioner commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong for releasing funds towards the development of the printing press and he call on staff of the press to work hard and put in their best when the press becomes fully operational, he added that having an effective printing press will help protect confidentiality of Government documents.

The Government printer Bolus Goshit appreciated the rescue government for the effort being made in reviving the press pointing out that, this has been their prayer as the machine has been idle for quite sometime. Goshit said four staff of the press have been selected for training on the technical knowledge after full installation of the machine.

According to the installator from Exact Solution Lagos, Engineer Chima Chukwu assured of the durability of the machine if properly maintained and handled.
