The Plateau state Audit department has received a donation worth millions of naira of assorted working materials from Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project which is a World Bank-assisted public sector initiative.

Project Coordinator of the Public Sector Governance Project, Mr Yusuf Pamancha who made the presentation at the office of the state Auditor-General stated that materials will help the government departments to work effectively as is done globally.

The Plateau state Audit department has received a donation worth millions of naira of assorted working materials from Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project which is a World Bank-assisted public sector initiative.

The Plateau state commissioner for Finance, Mr Davou Mang said that the public sector governance reform project has impacted positively in the first year of its existence. He highlighted some of the benefits to include the training of state audit staff on computer application and donation of resource materials.

The donation that was received by the Auditor General includes a 15-seater 2014 Toyota Hiace bus, a DLP projector frame screen, 2 horse-power air conditioners, furniture, assorted printers and a power-generating plant.
